My life's work is to influence the community at large in order to provide equal opportunity for all people. All of us have the power to shape the world. I believe we must all strive to practice personal tolerance; we must choose knowledge over ignorance; we must respect the power of words and use our words carefully. I also believe our community at large must provide support systems that guarantee basic human rights. Only then will people be able to take personal responsibility and practice self-advocacy.
